Congresswoman Kilpatrick Hosts a Town Hall Meeting with Dr. Ed Montgomery



The Congresswoman hosted a town hall meeting with Dr. Ed Montgomery, White House Director of Recovery for Auto Workers and Communities. The purpose of the meeting was to provide local elected officials and business and community leaders with the opportunity to discuss their concerns about issues such as housing, transportation and infrastructure, economic growth, and youth development with Dr. Montgomery and other U.S. officials. Presenters included Nathan Conyers; Linda Smith, executive director of U-SNAP-BAC; Ed Lazar of the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce; George Jackson, president of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation; and Angela Reyes, executive director of the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation.
